Summersplosion 2013

Last year, we had 40 individuals on 4 teams who wrote, directed, constructed, and performed their own 1-hour shows. This year, we’ve got new teams, new rules, and new ideas — and I’m excited for you to be a part!

I’m looking for 27 participants first and will reevaluate that total if necessary as the spots fill.

Please click the link and fill out the form if you are interested in participating. The rehearsals will begin in June and the shows will be the weekend of July 19th and 20th. We will have access to the 4H building most Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, but the rehearsals themselves will be flexible depending on availability of the team members. Last summer, many teams met in other locations!

Availability is extremely important, so please be mindful of the fact that if you had attendance issues during any of the last few shows, you may not be permitted to participate as a team member. We may have other roles for you, however! Please note that missing a week for vacation is fine, but repeated absences may be too much. Please be honest on that portion of your form! We’ll try to make it work!

The rules will be different this year! The team captains will act as director and team leader, but will not be in the shows so that they can focus on those roles. I believe this will help to streamline the process.

There is a $30 participation fee (which will include a t-shirt and a portion of your team’s budget)! If this will be a burden for you, please send me a message!
